After covering 30 km yesterday og astonishing 34 km today, we can now glimpse the mountains far ahead. Total distance covered 513 km, which means 47.5 km still to go. To leave the ice cap will probably take us another two days, so w´re hoping to reach Kangerlussuaq by Saturday night. In the evening yesterday, we celebrated the "landkjenning", the wonderful sight of mountains ahead, by cooking excellent food. Otherwise, Maria has unfortunately got the biggest blister ever. And we are all looking forward taking a refreshing and warm shower!
